25 jaar Studio Ghibli in concert

Wie ook zo heeft genoten van de muziek in de films van Hayao Miyazaki, moet deze video kijken. De componist Joe Hisaishi gaf dit concert in Budoken in 2008 ter ere van het 25-jarige jubileum van Studio Ghibli. De muziek is een feest der herkenning. Dit concert is uitgebracht op dvd, maar gelukkig ook online te zien. Joe Hisaishi geeft leiding aan het New Japan Philharmonic World dream Orchestra, Ritsuyukai Choir en Little singers of Tokyo. Op de achtergrond zijn scènes te zien van de betreffende film.

Dit is natuurlijk ook heerlijke muziek om op de werken en als achtergrond te hebben. Zet aan en geniet van de geweldige composities van Joe Hisaishi door de jaren. In de video komen verschillende leadzangers naar voren, een fanfare en natuurlijk neemt Joe Hisaishi zelf ook plaats achter de piano. Hayao Miyazaki spreekt de luisteraars ook toe over zijn films en de muziek.

Voor als je alleen bepaalde nummers uit een bepaalde film wilt luisteren, hierbij de tracklist met de tijden. Maar natuurlijk ook als je wilt weten uit welke film dat ene nummer ook alweer kwam.
